The Importance of Leptin
Losing weight can depend on the level of leptin that you have in your body. Leptin is a hormone in our bodies and it is very important. It is secreted by fat cells. Thus, it assists us in controlling our appetite and metabolism. You will get more circulating leptin when you have a more fat tissue. If you have more leptin, it will also make you feel less hungry. Thus, you will burn up your energy faster. This is the normal way of how leptin works. However, certain people who carry excess fat developed something else. This is called as leptin resistance. When our bodies have leptin resistance, our brains do not get the message. So, it does not matter how much leptins are being sent out, it won’t really work.

According to research, people who exercise more tend to move less when not exercising. This is because their brains subconsciously decide not to move much. Manage Your Stress Level
Due to the nature of my job, I was constantly exposed to stress. Because of my stress, I tend to reach out for unhealthy foods. These foods are both high in fats and calories.
